Jennifer Lindberg

Jennifer Lindberg works for Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management in the Training and Exercise Program as the State Exercise Officer. Jennifer has 21 years of experience in public safety including work as a Minneapolis Firefighter/EMT, a state inspector, and a deputy state fire marshal. She is an alumna of U of M Twin Cities and the FEMA Emergency Management Institute Master Exercise Practitioner Program. Jennifer provides support for exercise training and activities statewide, assisting emergency management personnel with the development and conduct of exercises.

Messa  Vang (pronounced like Mesa, AZ)

Messa has worked in the training sector for over 12 years spanning three different sectors: public, private, and higher education. He was part of an elite instructor cadre to stand up the first Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Center (FLETC) in Glenco, GA to standardize aviation security training and to further partnerships between federal law enforcement agencies and the TSA. At HSEM, Messa leads the Training Unit consisting of Training, Exercise, and NQS (National Qualification System) to support state, local, and tribal communities with emergency management training needs. Messa is excited to help and support HSEM community partners in emergency management and training.
